About this role

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Key partner to Alts Compensation lead in delivering best in practice carry and co-investment plans
  • Lead key initiatives for carry plan and co-investment design and administration for funds
  • Serve as primary point of contact and subject matter expert for senior management on inquiries, issues, and escalations regarding carried interest and employee investments
  • Support the Carry Committee in building out the carry infrastructure through streamlined processes and robust analytics
  • Partner with legal, tax and finance to deliver end to end processes of carried interest and employee investment programs
  • Manage relationship with third-party administrator (EWM) to deliver high quality employee experience and reporting and analytics


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of the structure and life cycle of private equity funds, carried interest, fund employee co-investments and loan program administration a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients or partners
  • Experience in data handling, reporting, and advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Discretion in taking care of confidential information
  • Organized and detail oriented with strong time management skills
  • Capacity to multi-task, balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Be solutions oriented; able to collaborate cross functionally and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (e.g., Workday, Oracle, etc.), Executive Wealth Management (EWM), eFront, etc a plus


For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $133,000 - $170,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
