HSBC Digital Business Services is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Corporate Services.

Principal Responsibilities
  • The Deputy Chief Operating Office (DCOO) organisation comprises a set of outcome focused services, owned end to end. The ambitious roadmap and structure aims to make DCOO a leading and innovative global service organisation
  • The role reports to the Country COO; Regional Head of CS is the functional lead to set strategy, budget objectives & provide governance and oversight to this role in collaboration with the Country COO
  • The role is expected to provide leadership of HSBC's Corporate Services (as defined at regional level) delivery in country to improve our employee & workplace experience
  • The role will manage and deliver Corporate Services in country, including Workplace Experience Services (Facilities Management, Property and Asset Management, Workplace Management & Transformation,); Future of Work Transformation, ESG and Protective Security
  • The role holder will support managing the expansion of Corporate Services related utilities
  • The role holder will be expected to demonstrate the ability to lead and transform the Corporate Services function in a country to a value and outcome focused way of working
  • The role is required to work in conjunction with the regional CS team to align with regional CS strategy and to ensure SME delivery in market
Requirements

Requirements
  • Experienced Corporate Services capabilities an advantage, with examples including Workplace Experience, Future of Work Transformation and Protective Services
  • Ability to develop trusted adviser status with key Executive stakeholders through SME expertise, industry experience and track record; ability to understand desired Business outcomes across the matrix and ability to translate into well communicated and clearly articulated Corporate Services outcomes
  • Proven track record in leading and driving change - both to own teams and structures and jointly with the Business through supporting and delivering changing workplace strategies
  • Prior experience of working in a global matrixed organisation is desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of the HSBC Group organization is desirable
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across matrix management
  • Strong financial acumen and commerciality skills
