We are looking for a IT Data Strategy & Infrastructure Manager (Bank VP title) to join the Centralized Functions Team within the Global Credit Finance Division. In this role you will work closely with business leaders to achieve the organization goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive IT and information system architecture.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget and tracking progress against targets
  • Build commitment to information strategy by considering and evaluating different points of view; creating a cohesive argument
  • Accomplish human resource objectives by managing a team, recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and managing performance of staff
  • Define division IT architecture by analyzing information requirements; determining systems architecture, components, and technologies; studying business operations and user-interface requirements
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
  • Engage with leadership and diversified stakeholder groups to understand their data and analytics needs and recommend BI or data solutions. Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
  • Partner with the business and technical teams to define the data elements and data structure that the team should leverage to enable analytical capabilities
  • Standardize data and report production/consumption across all GCF groups. Design, implement, and support platforms that provide business teams ad-hoc access to large datasets (e.g. data visualization tools for non-tech business users)

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business with 15+ years of relevant experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services organization; or a master's degree in business administration (MBA) with 10+ years of relevant experience working at a financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services organization
  • Knowledge of industries, including investment banking, broker-dealers, custody, fund administration and investment management
  • Experience in a strategy-focused role across the front, middle or back office where you will have driven change and transformation that had a real impact to the business
  • Extensive experience in communicating with senior management
