Who we are looking for
The IAM product leader will work as a member of the Cybersecurity IAM team, and with deep and broad expertise in IAM systems and industry best practices and trends, will assist with overall development and strategic architectural direction. The individual will perform a key role in identification, analysis, evaluation, and adoption of modernization IAM services and processes across state street applications and services. The IAM product leader / solution developer/Architect will collaborate actively with application owners, teams across state street and Cybersecurity engineering team to ensure the right IAM solutions are successfully designed, developed, deployed, and operated end-to-end from conception through production.

What you will be responsible for
  • Define IAM standards, requirements and security architecture for protecting applications, services and systems across Visa
  • Formulate and document a consistent strategy, process and standards for handling IAM Security assessments
  • Lead security reviews/assessments including deep architecture recommendations throughout the development lifecycle
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure IAM security controls and services are configured with the correct posture to support business requirements and Key controls
  • Architect modern and efficient solutions for IAM on-premises, Cloud, M&A integration and others on need basis.
  • Own and drive IAM technical standard documents specifying solutions for employee access
  • Keep up to date and be the subject matter expert on security models of new and emerging technologies: Cloud, SaaS, infrastructure tools. Maintain IAM reference architecture and IAM technology standards documents based on industry trends and best practices
  • Drive IAM strategy and roadmap while collaborating closely with the other technology architects and leads to ensure that IAM security is properly embedded in their technology architecture
  • Maintain oversight of the design and implementation of IAM systems to ensure appropriate and effective security controls are included
  • Partner closely with engineering teams in implementing enterprise IAM, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and other related security solutions (e.g., SailPoint, ForgeRock, Active Directory/Enterprise Directory, Azure AD, etc.)
  • Work with modern and existing IAM standards such as FIDO, OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML, WS-Federation, and SCIM; and ability to influence such standards based on enterprise needs

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • 15 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 8+ years of technology and Cybersecurity/IAM experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years' experience in one or more programming language such as Java, Python, Flutter, react.js etc...
  • 2+ years of experience in core Cloud technologies with hands on experience on AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Excellent understanding of the full IAM lifecycle including Joiners-Movers-Leavers, authentication, authorization, AD groups, and privileged access for systems and applications
  • Experience in implementing Single-Sign-On (SSO)and federation standards such as SAML and OpenID Connect, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Privileged Access Management
  • Willing to learn and teach others
