What We Are Looking For
State Street seeks to recruit a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Operations analyst responsible for supporting the operations function of State Street's DLP program. The DLP Operations team will work with the core Global Cyber Security teams, Global Security, Enterprise Continuity Services, and infrastructure teams to manage the DLP program to include new detection rules, strategy, operations processes, and other requirements related to the protection of data at State Street. This position requires analytic skills, creativity, quick reaction, organization, and technical expertise to protect the bank's assets. Join us in evolving our DLP response capabilities to shape a pro-active, threat intelligence driven fusion model to protect State Street, its customers and partners from the ever evolving and sophisticated global threat actors

What you will be responsible for
As Data Loss Prevention Analyst you will
o Manage the new detection logic intake process
o Engage with senior leaders to help them understand the risk of sensitive data loss
o Conduct testing and reviews of DLP detection logic in place and document results
o Contribute to the DLP strategy across all of State Street
o Communicate, implement, enforce and monitor security controls to protect the organization's data and technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure or destruction
o Provide training, informational and educational materials to impacted employees
o Ensure that security plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with overall information security standards
o Identify security risks and exposures, determines the causes of standard security violations and implement changes to halt future incidents and improve security.
o Monitor and analyze system access logs to ensure ability to provide audit trails and incident investigation

o Knowledge and understanding of data loss analysis: identification of security events
o Knowledge and understanding of data organizing or structuring complex data across varied data sources
o Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications
o 5+ years of experience with data loss prevention tools
o 5+ years of experience in production supporting, including problem identification, ticket documentation, and customer/vendor relations, demonstrated through work, military, or education
o 5+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools for change management, problem and incident management, and availability management, demonstrated through work, military, or education
o 4+ years of information security administration experience
