We are looking for an ambitious Accounts payable assistant to join our Real Estate Fund Operations Team, within the Real Estate division based in London.

The base
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We're close to our clients, in the heart of the UK's financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.

Our award winning Real Estate department is an integral part of Schroders' Private Assets division. We manage a broad range of real estate funds globally, including open/closed ended direct funds, listed REITs, mutual funds investing in global real estate securities as well as private partnership and multi-manager funds. Schroder Real Estate also manages joint ventures and separate accounts meeting specific client investment objectives.

The Real Estate Fund Operations team, consisting of 30 individuals across the UK and Luxembourg, is part of the Real Estate department and provides core accounting services, plus investment/ product support to the real estate fund range in UK & Europe.

What you'll do
• Complete KYC/AML procedures on UK and Luxembourg suppliers
• Process UK and Luxembourg fund invoices through our Yardi system within the SLA period
• Be the key point of contact for all AP related queries.
• Assist with the maintenance and recording of data on our Yardi system
• Opening and closing of UK and Luxembourg bank accounts
• Maintaining banking user access and signatory lists
• Weekly bank reconciliations
• Provide support to internal & external audits.
• Work with the wider team to continually refine and improve existing procedures/practices and processes with a view to increased operational efficiency

Some previous experience of working in an accounts payable function may help but is not a requirement
