An exciting opportunity has arisen in a very exciting family office that need to bring in someone with the right skillset to manage the Financial Reporting function of their Investment Portfolio.

The role will initially require shadowing an incumbent member of the team for 2 accounting cycles. It does not require internal line management of other team members but will involve oversight of a back office administrator team that is currently outsourced but could potentially be brought inhouse in the future.

Our client is looking for a person that is prepared to roll up their sleeves and become the engine room of the finance function.

You will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing year-end process, preparation of the portfolio' s consolidation and financial statements.
  • Ensuring that audits are successfully completed and within the agreed timelines.
  • Overseeing quarter-end reconciliation processes and preparation of management accounts.
  • Overseeing the month-end process and ensuring timely reporting of NAVs and P&L.
  • Ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place.
  • Assisting with Operational Due Diligence and Fund financial reviews.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects that the firm undertakes.
