My client is a successful mid-market boutique investment bank with several offices across Europe. The team is sector agnostic but has a Technology and Consumer sector bias.
The Associate role is a key position in the London team and acts similar a VP post in many firms - you will be responsible for managing a team of interns and Analysts and work closely with an MD on deals and liaise directly with clients. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

The Associate role is a key position in the London team and acts similar a VP post in many firms - you will be responsible for managing a team of interns and Analysts and work closely with an MD on deals and liaise directly with clients. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Driving deal execution and the M&A process (supported by a team of Analysts and guided by senior leaders)
- Leading on the creation and structuring of IMs and marketing materials
- Building and evaluating financial models
- Analysis of strategic drivers in key sectors
- Leading client and investor communication - you will be the key point person on your projects
- Involved in driving business development initiatives and the opportunity to lead on this where appropriate
- Coaching and developing juniors
The selected individual will meet the following criteria:
- Possess requisite level of M&A to operate confidently at the Assocate level
- Strong preference for a fluent German speaker
- Have clear indepth knowledge of valuation, accounting, financial reporting, financial instruments and general M&A concepts
- Excellent grasp of complex financial modelling concepts, with a keen understanding of broader commercial issues
