Quant Researcher/Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

Key requirements :

Masters degree in a quantitative subject (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering). Undergraduates with strong internship experience will also be considered

2+ years of experience in industry (or equivalent applied projects in academia)

Must haves :

Experience in applying machine learning techniques to real data sets

Programming proficiency in Python and R

Familiar with Linux/Unix environment

Fluent in English

Desirable experience :

Applying regression models

Deploying machine learning models in an automated real time system

Applying numerical optimisation techniques

Experience in algorithmic strategy development

Nice to haves :

Experience with Neural Networks, Bayesian methods, Statistical modelling or other machine learning approaches

Can develop web based visualization dashboards (Javascript, HTML, Dash, Flask, etc.)

Data visualisation skills

Experience working with MySQL & MongoDB databases

Other positive attributes :

Able to organise code in a readable and reusable way

Confident and independent thinker

Good communication skills
