- Help maintain Risk and Control Self-Assessment across all departments, ensuring the business updates the evaluation of risks and controls in accordance with the requirements of the Risk Management Framework
- Work with the business to manage Operational Risk Events and Risk Issues to manage actual or potential impacts to our organisation, ensuring the recording and tracking the completion of agreed corrective action plans
- Source data for existing and newly identified Key Risk Indicators
- Provide support in risk management engagement in business change activities, including Client Propositions, Outsourcing and Vendor Management, and Business Process Change management activities
- Help maintain, Policy Framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and, portal in which it is housed
- Maintain and use risk management data to produce well written structured reports following Risk Management methodologies and guidelines, capturing relevant Management Information for distribution to quarterly governance committees
- Produce ad hoc presentations, and maintain risk training, for different departments
- Help develop a risk culture across all departments
Your Qualifications:
- Graduate or equivalent level of education
- 3+ years of experience within a financial advisory or private wealth management firm, with working knowledge of Institutional fund management, fund structures, segregate mandates and FCA regulatory obligations.
- Eager to work in a collaborative environment, across the UK business to manage risk and, globally on cross-entity risk framework programs, and build trust in relationships
- Experience managing multiple work streams and coordinating across several departments under strict timelines

- A keen interest in engaging with and developing relationships, and assisting all departments in risk matters in order that they may achieve their goals through risk management and process enhancement
- Desires to learn, question, challenge and influence, with a keen interest in acquiring and developing risk management skills and knowledge
- Have a curious and challenging mindset and prepared to propose an alternative viewpoint
- A desire to take ownership of tasks and ability to handle complexity
- Project management experience would be useful
