Investment Associate - Real Estate Private Equity - London

Responsibilities and Duties:

Sourcing and analysing potential investments, including the underwriting and building financial models
Preparing investment decision materials for senior leadership
Conducting due diligence and coordinating the transaction process including interacting with external advisers and collaborating with jv partners
Supporting transaction structing
Overseeing the preparation of marketing materials and market research
Leading and supervising the contribution of investment analysts

Qualifications and Skills:

Education level: undergraduate degree with an excellent academic record
Seeking minimum of three years relevant real estate investment experience as an Analyst
Background could include real estate private, institutional real estate investors or asset managers or real estate corporate finance
Interest in value-add or opportunistic investing
Ideally have experience across several real estate jurisdictions and asset classes
Advanced financial modelling is critical to success - must be able to build models from scratch
Candidate should be highly numerate, have excellent communication (verbal/written) skills
Ability to work well in diverse teams in a fast-paced and stimulating environment
Language skills: English (required), other languages highly desirable
Working in a fast-paced environment, in a small team with a flat hierarchy
