Portfolio Manager - ESG & Investment Strategy

My client is the in-house investment team of a large UK Pension fund. They are now looking to add additional resource to help with their ESG and net zero aims as well as to assist with some investment strategy work specifically on the longer term strategic asset allocation side. The role can be tailored to the candidate they hire's specific areas of interest and is likely to be circa 70% ESG focused and 30% on the strategy side. The ideal candidate will have circa 5 years experience of both investment strategy and ESG, although candidates with experience in either area keen to learn or pivot their career will also be considered. This role would really suit someone from an investment consulting or asset management background wanting to make a real difference at an asset owner.
