Team Overview

A legal operations team professional focuses on being a trusted business partner to multiple portfolio managers, legal and compliance, and financial data teams to deliver accurate prospectus and other regulatory documents to multiple US government agencies. In addition, this role ensures relevant and accurate qualitative and quantitative information is included in these documents for investors to make investment decisions.

Role Responsibilities

Provide valuable enhancements to regulatory filings with the SEC (including annual and supplemental updates to Registration Statements, fidelity bonds, Form 8-A, Form N-PX, Form N-Q, and Form N-CSR).

Development and adheres to corporate filings calendars and recurring board agendas.

Analyze unique, sophisticated products structures and provide valuable viewpoints influencing BlackRock regulatory filings requirements.

Co-develop presentations for internal team meeting.

Demonstrate business and intelligence to analyze trends to optimize and improve the information in regulatory filings.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple internal and external partners.

Be a self-starter and work with minimal direct supervision in a team environment.

Experience and competencies

Bachelor's / Master's degree with 5+ years of demonstrated ability in legal operational and administrative matters.

A passion for analyzing regulatory and legal matters with a "Student of Markets" attitude.

Solid understanding of handling workflow matters impacting regulatory documents.

Demonstration of a high level of integrity and professionalism, especially concerning confidential legal matters.

Multifaceted skill-set when taking care of differing priorities impacting time-management and organization.

Excellent attention to detail, as well as the ability to produces accurate work and spots mistakes/errors and makes appropriate corrections.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including ability to clearly articulate legal matters to team leaders.

Self-motivated, determined to achieve goals and works hard to meet those goals. (Drive, Determination and Execution).

Builds working partnerships and improves collaboration in the workplace.

Our hybrid work model
