Portfolio Manager

The primary role will be working with Clients as a Portfolio Manager in a collaborative manner with the other two Portfolio Managers of the firm.  These duties include but not limited to contributing to weekly investment meetings, monitoring portfolios and cash balances, trading (buying and selling securities), administrative that pertains to account openings, closings, transfers, reconciliation in daily routines focusing on database management, stock idea generation, and modeling potential outcomes all utilizing tools and methods under the Carderock Capital's investment philosophy and style. Our firm is looking for an individual who is self motivated, enjoys working in a small firm environment and seeking to help grow the firm over time with potential of equity ownership. The ability to work independently is vital to success as this position performs a variety of complicated tasks and analysis. A high level of Excel and some VBA skills is desired.   Knowledge of Advent Axys accounting system and the Schwab Institutional Platform is a plus.  Completion or on Level III of achieving the CFA designation is a plus.
