Position Summary:
The Equity Analyst position is part of the Company’s Investment Division. Activities specific to this role include: supporting Sr. Equity Analysts; evaluating equity investments; performing sector and company‐specific research; preparing written investment reports; providing timely investment recommendations; building financial and valuation models; performing special projects; and maintaining in‐depth knowledge of economic, market, and industry trends. This is an in‐office, team‐oriented position that encourages rapid growth through intensive training, mentoring, and collaboration.

Job Duties:
- Support Sr. Equity Analysts with sector‐specific coverage responsibilities
- Analyze existing and prospective investment opportunities
- Prepare and produce well‐researched and well‐reasoned analyses
- Build and maintain financial and valuation models
- Prepare materials and exhibits for senior management meetings
- Monitor news and developments for assigned companies and sectors
- Interface with portfolio management & accounting systems to produce custom reports
- Complete time‐sensitive projects and ad hoc analyses
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in an equity research role at a buy‐side or sell‐side firm
- Experience using Bloomberg terminal and Excel plug‐in
- Experience using Enfusion or similar investment management system
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in financial modeling, equity valuation, and GAAP accounting
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Compatible investment philosophy and a genuine passion for investing
- Intellectual curiosity and humility; willingness to collaborate and be mentored
- Problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet firm deadlines
- Positive attitude and team player
- Strong work ethic, high moral integrity
- Proficiency in VBA or other programming languages
Licenses and Certificates:
- Passed CFA Level I exam
- CFA charterholder
