Overview

Role:

Consults with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services or technical support. Must have thorough and demonstrative knowledge on or both the user-side frontend of a website, as well as the backend, server-side that powers the user-side. Additional requirements include intermediate understanding of security principles, relational databases and architecture design principles. Provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs. Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards. Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions. Maintain software functionality and currency (technical debt and gain). Actively participate in code reviews. Integrate software components into a fully functional software system. Apply security and privacy principles. Works with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications. Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group. Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services. Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies. Active learning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time. Use learning tools such as Pluralsight to complete both recommended and aspirational targets set in personal development plans. Stays abreast of emerging technologies. Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions. Mentors junior level engineers. Expertise in using a specific application development toolkit and proficiency of front end and backend development coding languages such as C#, Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript. Must also have proficiency in application frameworks and containerization. Communications and organization skills; team work skills ; possess strong interpersonal skills to support mentoring. N/A. Responsibilities:
  • (S)he will work as part of the program and technology project team to implement Oracle Cloud ERP in Bank of New York Mellon.
  • (S)he will work on OIC, BIP/OTBI, ATP, Object Storage and other Oracle PaaS Solutions.
  • Additional responsibilities will vary depending on the level and experience of the individual.
  • (S) he will lead architecture design all application within Finance technology domain
  • (S) will guide and train other administrator with the group.

Must Have Skills:
  • 15+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in implementing Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion Financials).
  • 15+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in OIC, IDCS and other Oracle PaaS Solutions.
  • An understanding of Oracle's IDCS security model implementation like oAuth2.0, SAML, etc.
  • Experience working with FBDI, REST API, SOAP Web Services of Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Experience working with SQL/PLSQL and DB Performance Tunning.
  • Experience working in Oracle Cloud SaaS and PaaS security.
  • Experience with continuous integration, delivery deployment (CI/CD) tools and Pipeline deployment (e.g . Gitlab-CI)
  • Application Integration Specialist: Strong integration experience in Oracle Integration Cloud Development (OIC)- must demonstrate having built multiple interfaces integrating with Oracle ERP Cloud both inbound and outbound.
  • Expertise in Design, Development and delivery using Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Database and APEX Tools. Experience in designing & developing extensions (PaaS for SaaS) & Process Automations.
  • An understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud security model.
  • Ability to quickly understand and decompose financial, business, and technical concepts.


Additional Desired Skills:
  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) will be a huge plus
  • Hand experience in Python, Shell or Batch Scripting.
  • One or more full lifecycle implementation of Cloud ERP.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 10-14 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Job holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans. S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits..
