We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Credit Analysis Unit.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Promote, facilitate and ensure quality business generation
  • Provide efficient support to the Banking & Markets by managing credit processes and leverage best practices across various sites to improve operational efficiency and optimize business performance
  • Provide efficient support to the implementation of compliance controls, policies and procedures to prevent and minimise operational loss. Ensure compliance are checked before credit submission and that all regulatory reports are submitted on time
  • Safeguard the bank from potential losses arising from credit and operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with internal/external audit, legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Financial Crime Compliance Risk
  • Ensure a balance between lending within credit policies and lending guidelines and commercialism in the context of competitive business environment
  • Achieve the objective of increasing customer's wallet without compromising the credit quality of the loan portfolio
  • Provide a high degree of credit support to relationship managers with a fast turnaround for credit submissions
  • Possess solid understanding of credit issues, ability to handle complex and numerical analysis, keeping abreast of industry developments
  • Provide value-adding to strategically steer the loan book through application of business analytics

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of corporate lending experience with good credit and financial analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of full spectrum of these products - Treasury and Capital Markets Products and Trade Services
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
