Position Description:

With the recent rollout of Workday HCM, PIMCO's People Analytics Team is implementing a firm wide Workday Reporting strategy that would enable and empower HR, business leaders and employees across the firm get access to accurate workforce data and metrics securely and easily. S/he will be working in a fast-paced environment, often interfacing with users spread across US, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia.

As a Workday Reporting Senior Associate reporting to the People Analytics Reporting Manager, s/he will be responsible for creating and implementing the Reporting Strategy for Workday.

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Workday report development and maintenance
    • Build and implement HR reporting guidelines across the firm
    • Create advanced reports using complex calculated fields
    • Build dashboards and visualizations using matrix and composite reporting
    • Streamline and optimize existing reporting library


  • Workday Report Administration to ensure that:
    • The reports meet the requirements and the design standards
    • The reports are shared with the users appropriately within the Workday security framework
    • The inventory of reports is up to date
    • Migration of reports across sandbox, testing and production tenants

  • Workday Integration and data integrity
  • Monitoring and reporting on Workday usage metrics
  • Work with various levels of users to understand business requirements for reports
  • Mentor and train junior report developers
  • Educate end users on reporting capabilities, and continuously seek reporting enhancements to support evolving requirements


Position Requirements:

Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with reporting in Workday HCM and other modules
  • Deep understanding of Workday architecture and Workday HR domains (Business Objects)
  • Proven experience with creating KPIs, compound metrics and trends using data from Workday HCM as well as other areas of HR such as Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Performance, Learning & Development, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with building complex calculated fields and aggregations in Workday
  • Expert in creating and maintaining all types of reports such as Advanced, Matrix, Search, BIRT, Dashboard, etc. as well as building data visualizations and Discovery Boards in Workday
  • Experience with Workday EIBs and other integration methods
  • Expert in MS Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred qualifications and skills
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes
  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
