As a Middle Office Manager within the Operations Team, the employee in this role will be involved in management of client integration, oversight of trade processing and confirmation of client's trades, error reporting and resolution. You will have several years of middle office operations experience with extensive product knowledge that will allow you to contribute your ideas and efforts to driving efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.

What you will be responsible for
As AIS Middle Office Manager, Assistant Vice President you will:
  • Overseeing business development of Middle Office applications, products and services.
  • Maintaining consistent feedback and dialogue between business working groups, production support and system development teams.
  • Developing solutions for new client deliverables
  • Working closely with broader operations management teams to develop process efficiencies.
  • Organizing and leading operational focus groups.
  • Interacting with clients to evaluate service performance.
  • Identifying and implementing best practices for project management.
  • Demonstrating an open ability to assess the impact of a problem across the organization, identifying implicit and explicit risks and facilitating a collaborative solution.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven professional skills - At least 7+ years' experience with sell-side or hedge fund middle and back office.
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to present internally to management.
  • Hedge Fund Middle Office or Administration experience is required incl working knowledge of OTC markets.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
  • Ability to document development requirements to create automated processes for Operations
  • Excellent follow-up and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Project orientated.
  • Must be able to pay extremely close attention to details.
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be comfortable performing and collaborating in a remote team environment.
