As the Environmental, Social and Governance/Sustainable and Impact Investing Product Manager, you will define, own, and strategically execute on key initiatives to help our advisors and clients understand Ameriprise offerings, capabilities and thought leadership in the ESG area.

Researching and understanding the industry, consumer trends and regulatory environment will be critical for you to represent the Ameriprise ESG/Sustainable and Impact investing products and expertise to clients, advisors, and business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Wholistically manage the ESG/sustainable and impact investing product; including product availability, marketing/training content, advisor tools and partnering on the research framework
  • Provide thought leadership across the organization by engaging with groups like Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Training and Research
  • Coordinate and lead advisor panels and focus group to successfully understand if there are opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor the competitive environment, consumer and advisor trends to identify and create business cases when changes are warranted
  • Work with Legal and Compliance to understand the regulatory environment and trends that may impact the ESG space
  • Provide financial and product report trends
  • Lead cross-organizational projects to build out and enhance the ESG business
  • Create and present content to educate and influence leaders about the ESG product


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' business experience working with diverse teams of experts, preferably in Financial Services industry
  • FINRA Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 120 days
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to establish strong, positive business relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Investment and/ or EST experience
  • Master's degree, preferable in Sustainability of related field
