The role:
Sr Engineering Analyst

The Team:

Description:
Lead the creation of the Vehicle Technical Intelligence Platform (VTIP) monthly. This includes:
  • Research US market vehicles introduced each month and link the vehicle technical data to fuel consumption metrics.
  • Generate the VTIP file by running simulations using Energy software.
  • Maintain current Energy models for vehicle-side attributes.
  • Update/optimize vehicle models using statistical analysis.
  • Provide direction for enhancements of current and future tools.
  • Assist with creation of future VTIP, Energy and VPAC product enhancements which includes building models, writing macros and data analysis.
  • Ensure high quality and on time completion of tasks.
  • Proactively communicate with all stakeholders.
Southfield, MI based position (hybrid role of WFH and one day per we onsite)

What we're looking for:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience
Proficient user of computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Evidence of project management experience, including managing of multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated understanding of data analysis
Works well both independently and on teams
US Market Fuel Economy / GHG Regulation Knowledge

Preferred Skills and Experience:
5 years engineering experience related to fuel economy on vehicles and/or propulsion systems.
Experience with government agencies and/or industry associations
Peer reviewed publications in SAE or other industry recognized forums
Visual Basic programming

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is between $71,715 to $126,960 . Commensurate with experience and also based
on other factors such as budget and internal parity. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
