Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance our sustainability strategy and processes across asset classes
  • Actively follow ESG trends and best in class approaches
  • Evaluate new ESG datasets and tools
  • Carry out an in-depth regulatory watch (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, etc.) and follow NGO, industry or government related sustainability initiatives
  • Conduct in-depth ESG company and thematic research to support our investment teams
  • Evaluate companies' carbon transition strategy and their contributions to UN SDGs
  • Engage with invested companies on ESG issues
  • Support investment teams on sustainability and ESG topics in presentations and client interactions
  • Design, further enhance, and generate sustainability reports


Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a sustainability or ESG focused role
  • University degree in an ESG or finance related subject
  • Demonstrable passion for sustainable investing and responsible ownership
  • In-depth knowledge on sustainability issues and trends, climate change, ESG datasets and standards as well as best practices
  • General knowledge of financial markets, economics and politics
  • Strong research and investigative skills with the ability to evaluate and assess complex topics
  • High level of diligence, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and German
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Relocation to Zurich area is a requirement
