- Enhance our sustainability strategy and processes across asset classes
- Actively follow ESG trends and best in class approaches
- Evaluate new ESG datasets and tools
- Carry out an in-depth regulatory watch (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, etc.) and follow NGO, industry or government related sustainability initiatives
- Conduct in-depth ESG company and thematic research to support our investment teams
- Evaluate companies' carbon transition strategy and their contributions to UN SDGs
- Engage with invested companies on ESG issues
- Support investment teams on sustainability and ESG topics in presentations and client interactions
- Design, further enhance, and generate sustainability reports
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a sustainability or ESG focused role
- University degree in an ESG or finance related subject
- Demonstrable passion for sustainable investing and responsible ownership
- In-depth knowledge on sustainability issues and trends, climate change, ESG datasets and standards as well as best practices
- General knowledge of financial markets, economics and politics
- Strong research and investigative skills with the ability to evaluate and assess complex topics
- High level of diligence, accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and German
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Relocation to Zurich area is a requirement
