JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking a strong Systems Analyst to play a key role delivering solutions to our business partners, solving complex problems, and striving to advance and sustain a world-class platform. The Systems Analyst will work with members of the global Funds Technology Team to provide systems analysis, testing, delivery and local user support for the funds business in APAC. This business covers a multi-year Funds Distribution and Global Wealth Management programs among others. As a result, the individual will need to demonstrate working knowledge of, and have direct IT experience in, fund companies that distribute funds via third party intermediaries.
This position requires strong analytical skills, with a high attention to detail, and a desire to analyze and solve complex problems. This individual must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work on a variety of assignments with people across the organization. Excellent organization, communication, and delivery skills are required. This individual must be a team player with a desire and willingness to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact directly with business partners at all levels of the organization to define, analyze, and document requirements, as well as set priorities
- Act as a champion and trusted advisor for the needs of the business partners
- Develop a strong partnership with the delivery team to ensure on time, scalable, and high-quality business solutions
- Provide input into system design to help the programming teams define effort and implementation schedules
- Ensure quality of product by enforcing high standards in testing and building audit/validation controls
- Act as an escalation point person for support issues that require detailed analysis and management
- Provide regular status reporting and issue tracking
- Establish and maintain effective Vendor relationships for locally supported applications and feeds.
- Several years of Fund Company experience & knowledge, including fund structures (LPs, Trusts etc.), fund regimes (UCITS, etc.) and distribution of funds via third party intermediaries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Strong client relationship skills and proven ability to build consensus
- Experience working directly with business partners to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs
- Experience writing requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and test plans
- Change agent, creative, innovative, and focused on continuous improvements
- Self-motivated and willing to work in an energetic, fast paced team environment
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL, or another relational database technology
- Experience documenting/diagramming workflows, such as Visio
- Experience using project tracking tools, such as Jira
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau
- Experience supporting critical production applications
- Willingness to work independently in an energetic, fast-paced, business-critical and team oriented-environment
- A strong team player, with ability to work in collaboration across teams
- Intellectual curiosity and interest to learn independently and from peers
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
