About the Role
At Wellington Management our appetite for technology is insatiable. We recognize that the world is full of fascinating questions that will impact the future of companies, economies, financial markets, and entire industries. This position is within our Client and Fund Technology team, which is focused on our client-facing technology. Our solutions are used not only by clients, but also by our Relationship Managers, Investment Directors, and Client Service Managers. The team uses off-the-shelf and proprietary solutions in order to create agile and robust solutions. The team is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Client Reporting Team. The Client Reporting Team consists of both analysts and developers that provide critical reporting capabilities for clients, brokers and banking institutions.
Role overview
We are seeking a systems analyst with 5 plus years of experience, with key capabilities being strategic thinking, analytical rigor, communication skills, organization, and problem solving. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and data analysis. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to assimilate technical and business concepts quickly and manage multiple competing priorities. The role requires a well-rounded and experienced individual (preferably in financial sector), who can work well with stakeholders in the Client Platform to build consensus on vision and then follow-through on delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track, execute, resolve, and report on support and enhancement requests, in a timely and thorough manner.
- Provide requirements for strategic reporting solutions for the firm's Clients and Prospects
- Create strong business relationships with the Client Servicing and Product Management business teams
- Create cross functional relationships with other members of the Client and Fund Technology team
- Make recommendations that lead to efficiency related opportunities and outcomes
- Identify potential new technical solutions and or approaches for the client reporting team
- Advocate for the end user and proactively manage project plans, risks, impact and user experience always
- Run the delivery team stand-ups, manage risk and issue logs, and resource allocations for multiple projects
- 5 plus years asset management industry experience highly desirable
- Strong understanding of investment data, Equity, Fixed income and Derivatives instruments and analytics.
- Demonstrated client focus and relationship management skills
- Strong SQL query skills and experience with Oracle/SQL Server relational databases and tools
- Experience in python scripting for data analysis and reporting
- Experience in BI/Data warehousing domain and understanding of data modelling
- Experience in client reporting tools like OBIEE, Tableau
- Experience in Cloud Based reporting solutions and relevant API's
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a business audience
- Team oriented and collaborative
- Bachelor degree required
