The Credit Portfolio Senior Manager is a senior management-level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department to monitor the Citi portfolio and identify credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to lead the management of Citi's portfolio exposure to client and counterparties globally.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Senior Unsecured Lending Risk Manager to lead an analytical team to monitor and manage both regular MIS/ reports and ad-hoc analyses for unsecured lending products
  • Support the Senior Unsecured Lending Risk Manager in monitoring and oversight of unsecured lending portfolios with good understanding in full credit cycle and credit risk function to ensure within the bank's risk appetite framework
  • Provide analytical support for launch of business initiatives / Regional projects / compliance to latest regulatory and internal credit policy on unsecured lending products
  • Ensure all credit processes are in compliance with company policies and requirements set out by the local as well as lead regulator through effective execution of control programs such as self-assessment, quality assurance, application audit
  • Formulate regular MIS / reports for unsecured lending portfolios monitoring and for management's awareness with proper and insightful commentary
  • Oversight the progress for routine MIS automation / digitalization and Tableau Dashboard formation
  • Prepare and present ad hoc MIS on lending business trend highlights and key initiatives
  • Conduct analysis to fine-tune the acquisition or portfolio management strategies in order to optimize risk & reward trade-off
  • Perform control programs to ensure relevant credit processes are in compliance with regulatory and group requirements
  • Participate in various business, risk, system & regional projects with close collaboration with other functions such as Product, Credit Operations, Technology, etc

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of risk management experience in Unsecured Lending Products with proven track record in team management
  • Highly numerate, good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others with leadership potential
  • Proficient in handling mass data and able to interpret results with critical analysis
  • Self-initiative, effective communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to motivate others, strong sense of compliance awareness
  • Sound knowledge in SAS programming, data mining and MS Word / Excel / Access / Power-Point is a must
  • Experienced in Tableau, TRIAD or Credit Decision Engine is an advantage
  • Demonstrated quantitative, presentation and analytic skills
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:
  • Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science or other related quantitative disciplines
