From the computers and collaboration tools of our employees to modernized infrastructure platforms and core services, we ensure that the firm's systems are running optimally while enabling business innovation and productivity. We also oversee BNY Mellon's architecture and data, guiding the firm through technology changes necessary to execute business strategies.

As part of TSG, the Application Infrastructure & Middleware team automates Middleware Engineering, including Platform Security, Application Messaging, Web Authentication, Public Cloud Engineering & Storefront. We also lead Java Engineering CoE.

The Role

As a Cloud Engineering Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for hands on software development, QA, and deployment for cloud-based systems for business including software components, modules, integrations. You will leverage cloud service providers such as Azure/GCP (e.g., compute, network, storage, database, management, etc.) and their APIs to deliver a highly efficient application implementation and use technologies like as Java/Python, Terraform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement dynamically scalable and highly available services on Azure/GCP and deploy production systems
  • Design, develop and maintain software that leverages Azure/GCP cloud service providers
  • Identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies
  • Ensure clear and thorough code and design documentation and participate in software requirements and test plan reviews
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
