The company is now seeking an Associate Director, Investment Management in their Dublin office.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Looking after and supporting clients' needs.
  • Plan, implement and execute the annual Business plan in line with agreed individual targets.
  • Build new client relationships and develop existing client relationships through effective ongoing service, and to deliver new instructions and referrals through satisfied clients.
  • Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner, ensuring all information provided is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients' needs.
  • Construct & maintain suitable portfolios in line with the client's requirements, circumstances, tax situation and attitude to risk.
  • Review Client portfolios regularly and make portfolio changes by consulting with colleagues, where appropriate.
Successful candidates can/must:
  • Be able to construct and maintain investment portfolios for clients' taking into account:
    • Client's requirements, circumstances, and tax situation;
    • Client's appetite for and ability to bear risk;
    • Diversification and asset split;
  • Meet the Minimum Competency Code for the provision of financial advice in Ireland;
  • Have strong knowledge of the applicable Irish financial planning/advice regulations.
  • Understand and be able to evaluate different classes of asset and select appropriately for inclusion in client portfolios.
  • Evaluate the impact of SAA and TAA decisions and adjust client portfolios accordingly.
  • Understand and be able to evaluate the impact of stock/fund specific, market and general economic indicators and take appropriate action within client portfolios.
  • Undertakes research and demonstrates a detailed understanding of specified market sectors and able to make recommendations to others.
  • Able to place deals accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Able to explain the divisional strategy, demonstrating how business should be conducted to achieve the desired goals. Contributes to the achievement of the divisional strategy.
