Senior Analyst, Investment Management Operations
Acuitas Investments, LLC is a Seattle-based boutique asset management firm with seven employees and $800M in assets under management. The firm uses a multi-manager investment process and seeks to be an expert in global microcap and small cap investing. Acuitas’ products include mutual funds, private funds, and separate accounts managed primarily for institutional clients.
Overview of Position:
This role will take primary responsibility for the majority of operations functions at Acuitas. This includes handling all aspects of performance measurement and providing timely and accurate deliverables to clients. Additionally, this person will support other functions such as investments, sales and compliance. Acuitas is seeking a candidate that embraces a dynamic, entrepreneurial work environment and enjoys having diverse job responsibilities. A strong candidate will be self-motivated with an action-oriented mindset and will be comfortable handling both large initiatives as well as executing smaller, ongoing day-to-day tasks. Over the long term, this role will have the potential to grow into a lead operations role.

- Oversee all aspects of operations while working closely with investments, sales and compliance. Produce, review and validate portfolio performance calculations in conjunction with our outsourced reconciliation firm. Manage GIPS policies and procedures to GIPS standards. Create customized reporting based upon client requirements. Review, update and implement new processes where needed to promote firm growth. Serve as operational lead interacting with custodians and external managers. Maintain consultant databases. Support the investment team with analytical tools such as FactSet and seek to improve investment infrastructure processes. Support the creation and updating of marketing materials.
- 5+ years prior investment operations experience, including experience with client performance measurement, account reconciliation, and GIPS performance reporting. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Resourceful, inquisitive, and adept at problem solving. Self-motivated and driven. Able to work independently and multi-task. Intellectual curiosity and strong analytical skills. Good communication, including ability to work within a small team effectively, and strong interpersonal skills.
