For our client, a globally successful asset manager and an absolute top-player in its field, we are looking for a Senior Fund Controller. Preferably with 5-7 years of experience and background in Finance, Big 4 Audit or similar background from an asset management industry. Your Responsibilities

The Senor Fund Controller will be in charge of supporting the set-up of the solutions, controlling, analyzing and monitoring the cash flows and the performances of the portfolios as well as preparing or reviewing the financial statements, management reports and commercial reporting managed or produced by the team and finally answering punctual questions from investors. He will be in charge of the administrative and financial management of the overall activity and guaranteeing the data quality. His team will be composed of 5 people.

In this role you will primarily cover the following aspects:
  • Support during the product set up and investment phase,
  • Analyze and calculate the performance of portfolios and investment funds
  • Monitor and control financial cash flows: capital calls / distributions of the underlying funds
  • Be responsible for the controls and validation of the various deliverables prepared by the team or providers, including the accounting and financial statements prepared by the administrators,
  • Set up and implement control checklists and processes on new activities,
  • Act as the person of contact for all internal or external stakeholders (local and international) for the organization of information, financial and accounting flows
  • Prepare the reporting to the investors: clients' presentations, Boards' presentations, punctual questions, or analysis requests from investors
  • Supervise the team and support the operations
  • Be the point of entry for internal and external customers with the responsibility to rationalize and prioritize the various requests
  • Harmonize and optimize the control processes in place for the various mandates in conjunction with the other divisions of the Customized Solutions Fund Finance team
  • Manage the relationship and the transmission of information to the auditors and the various service providers, in particular the fund administrators
Your Profile

  • Bsc or Msc in Finance or equivalent degree
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a Private Equity, Asset Manager and/or Audit company - ideally with solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • You are featured with deep analytical as well as numerical skills and are quick to connect the dots
  • You thrive working in a team as well as independently and have a knack for communication
  • You are known for your accurate and organized way of working and proof yourself to be resilient and flexible while working under pressure/ tight deadlines and handling several projects simultaneously
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory, German and/ or French is highly desirable
