Client Reporting Services, Americas within InvesTech Operations has an open position for an Analyst based out of the Boston office supporting the Private Investments Product Reporting Team. The Analyst will have broad exposure within the Private Investments Platform, supporting the existing Private Equity product suite while also expanding coverage to include Private Credit, Private Real Estate, and other product suites as they are built out.

The Private Investments Product Reporting Team is newly formed and created to establish Private Investments client, prospect, and consultant reporting expertise within the firm. There are two analysts and one manager on the team whose primary responsibilities include establishing relationships with key internal stakeholders, establishing best practices, streamlining workflow, and producing high quality reporting. Additionally, this role is expected to work with internal stakeholders to identify and assume ownership of reporting being completed within disparate teams. Analysts are also expected to assist in establishing future state Private Investments reporting functionality from a procedure and infrastructure perspective and represent reporting on large scale initiatives. The role is expected to develop expertise in the products they cover, will be closely aligned with the Investment Products & Fund Strategies (IPFS) team, and serve as internal subject matter expert within the firm. This role is ideal for candidates with a demonstrated interest in Private Investments and who are comfortable working on a newly established team where change is ever present.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

•Partner with IPFS and our Client Group to manage the general reporting needs of our clients and prospects while developing expertise within the Private Investments suite of products

•Serve as an internal Private Investments reporting subject matter expert to colleagues within the firm

•Produce all product materials and reoccurring deliverables including generic marketing presentations, fact sheets, product and deal/company commentary

•Calculate and validate company and fund level performance and transaction data

•Represent the reporting team and help drive deployment of technology and infrastructure initiatives

•Establish future state Private Investments reporting functionality from a procedure and infrastructure perspective

•Complete Ad-Hoc requests in a timely manner with strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Prior professional experience (3+ years)

• Prior professional experience or strong demonstrated interest in private investments, investment management, or financial markets

• The position requires extensive use of internal/external systems, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg are essential along with a demonstrated technical aptitude

• Comfort working in a newly created team where change is constant and relationships, responsibilities, and systems are being defined

• Proactive, self-driven, collaborative and team-centric mindset along with excellent communication skills

• Prior experience in project management or business analysis is a plus

• An MBA or CFA/CAIA, or progress toward these qualifications is a plus
