Your accountabilities:
  1. Lead the formative stages of the delivery of the strategy, working with the 1LOD, Risk Business Partners and the Change Team;
  2. Oversee the execution of the strategy within the first six months. Key deliverables in this time include:
    1. Establishment of a Risk Champion Network, including developing materials and training and working with the 1LOD;
    2. Overseeing the ongoing enhancements and development of the Risk system (including establishment of a Risk Event Module and a move to improved risk reporting using Power BI);
    3. Establishment and delivery of Risk Management training requirements, working with HR and others from the 2LOD to get a consistent approach for new hires and existing colleagues;
    4. Progressing the strategic approach to Risk Event management to ensure lessons are learned and event data is used to inform risk assessment, and risk-based decision making; and
    5. Overseeing the ongoing process of improving our data quality in our risk system, including the implementation of the 'Minimum Standards' across the company; and
    6. Assist with other key developments such as ongoing work on Model Risk and Conduct Risk, and any emerging areas.
  3. Assist in the recruitment process for new team members to bring in specialist skills to complement those of the Risk Business Partners; and
  4. Oversee the regular reporting requirements and cycles that Enterprise Risk have responsibility for, ensuring high quality and timely documentation is provided to meet stakeholder requirements.
