Business Analyst - Fund Accounting

In brief, our Role is:

The Team is an operations group, responsible for aggregating and distributing critical fund data to various internal departments. The group provides support to the CCO group for fund board reporting, coordinates with Marketing for statistical and performance reporting utilized in fund fact sheets and shareholder reports and works closely with the Legal Department for review of the fund performance historical data. In addition, they help facilitate providing fund information to the website and other client facing systems.

We would like the successful candidates to:
  • Supervise a professional group of individuals responsible for operational fund information distribution activities
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the team and align team resources accordingly to meet daily responsibilities
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives and goals
  • Assist Senior Manager by acting as first point of escalation and ensuring that questions are answered, and issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner

Preferred Skills and Qualifications (but not exclusive to):
  • 5-7 years of Financial Services Experience
  • Prior Supervisory experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and other business support application skills
