Applicants should be experienced Global or Emerging Markets macro strategists with a number of years' experience in global Macro market strategy.

As a Global EM Strategist for the UK-based team you should have depth in EMEA/Asia Fixed Income, FX and Economics and good understanding of the global macro approach.

Your responsibilities will include:-
  • Working as a Senior Investment Strategist, focusing mainly on EM Investment Strategy (sovereign and corporate fixed income, FX)
  • Support the Group in Developed Markets Investment Strategy (FX, rates, credit)
  • Developing trade ideas in FX, local currency rates and sovereign credit, principally in EMEA, but also in other EM markets.
  • Discussing ideas/views with clients, salesforce and traders


In order to apply you should have:-
  • Experience working as a dedicated strategist developing trade ideas.
  • Exceptional written and verbal ability
  • A Broad professional client network across Emerging markets
  • Experience publishing for clients
  • Solid Economic training.
  • The ability to formulate views and develop a dedicated Macro strategy product.


This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience and knowledge if the markets in a role with a wide remit.

Please note, whilst the role is cross asset in nature, dedicated experience developing and publishing FX and Emerging market trade ideas is essential.

The role is London based but applicants from other locations are welcome to apply as are buy side strategists who can demonstrate examples of written ideas.
