Junior Project Manager

Purpose

Our Junior PM will guide and deliver concurrent projects within a team of project managers, reporting to a Value Stream lead. This role is seeking someone with strong inter-personal skills, ability to build relationships at all levels, a formal project management qualification (APM, APMG, PMI) and experience of financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct hands-on project management of multiple concurrent projects

• Report on project status and risk factors
• Development and maintenance of a plan for all project related activity across all business areas
• Anticipate project delivery risk factors and put in place effective mitigation
• Ensure operational readiness at implementation of change
• The project manager is also expected to carry out some business analysis on some projects
• Adherence at all times to the Treating Customers Fairly policy as implemented by 7IM
• Act consistently in accordance with 7IM's Vision, Purpose and Values
• Ability to work from our Edinburgh office
• Adherence to the 7IM SDLC across all projects
• Adherence to all applicable compliance regulations
• Other, as reasonably required by your line manager and 7IM.

Knowledge
• Experience of retail investment administration and the investment management industry desirable
• IT development knowledge is desirable
• Project Management methodologies and techniques
• Experience of financial systems, notably investment management or retail platforms is desirable

Qualifications
• Demonstrable track record of guiding or playing significant role in successfully delivering projects
• Formal project management qualifications from a recognised body (APM, APMG, PMI) desired
