Multi-stage VC fund investing in technical teams that build globally relevant products across any sector and geography.

Mixture of direct and fund-of-fund investments, using a corporate structure rather than a conventional fund that allows them to extend the time period they hold capital for. This creates unique opportunities to support companies from seed to post-IPO, while allowing for long-term reinvestment of realised gains and a novel approach to venture analysis.

Looking to bring on a high-performing individual who will help conduct due diligence and market analysis to support of the investment decision making process.

In this role you will help manage and organise data collection, conduct market analysis and source prospect companies for review.

As a small team your work will be central in helping inform both the capital allocation and direct investment decisions and guide investment strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to write investment memos on prospect businesses, in particular macro sector analysis on converging technologies and their implications for market development and growth.

Enterprise value analysis and identification of acquisition opportunities / collection of market references. • Apply research to identify prospect companies, running primary diligence. • Support the maintenance of the platform and ensure data is up to date and accurate. •Where appropriate, support the needs of portfolio companies in strategic decision making.

Experience & Skills:

Essential

• Experience in structuring investments or organising market research in support of investment decision making • A keen eye for and dedication to detail • The ability to think independently and take responsibility for the quality of your work • The ability to communicate extremely technical topics to non-technical audiences, clearly and succinctly in both oral and written form • Experience managing data through its lifecycle (sourcing, validating and deploying) • Familiar with critical data sources for financial analysis

Desirable

• Experience troubleshooting data issues (related to any part of the data lifecycle of sourcing, validating, data model alignment, validation, and publication) • Familiarity with a variety of coding languages such as Python and C++ Person specification: • Accountable for driving results • Makes timely decisions • Works in an iterative way, updating and improving their own and other processes • Collaborates well and supports other team members • Remains focused and rational when faced with challenging issues offer:
