The Aladdin Client Services (ACS) Team tackles the hardest, most sophisticated problems in FinTech. We utilize our in-depth understanding of Aladdin, our clients' businesses, and the investment management process to provide world-class customer service to our rapidly growing, global client base. In this role, you will:

  • Solve client inquiries and help our users, who are industry practitioners at some of the world's most respected investment institutions, run their businesses on Aladdin
  • Use technology to solve problems - we will teach you the skills you need to succeed, such as maneuvering relational databases and parsing product logs
  • Educate users, leverage service insights, and relay user experience feedback to improve the customer experience and our product
  • Work on a global team, with a local presence - you will get to work with teams across the world, while still engaging with a vibrant local team

You have:
  • 3+ years in the financial or technology industry; client or vendor facing role preferred
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Degree in Finance, Engineering or Technology would be preferred
  • Demonstrated technical ability to use SQL, UNIX and/or programming languages like Python
  • A strong interest in client facing, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high self-assurance, positive attitude, and drive
  • Strong communication skills and ability to tailor approach to all corporate levels
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking skills, and an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions, and implement changes
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple incidents on a varying level of priority
  • Ability to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently
  • Must be detail orientated, possess initiative, and work well under pressure
  • Given that the nature of this role is Finance and Technology (FinTech) centric, we would like candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for learning these aspects of the job


You may have:
  • Experience in financial services industry in the data domain or market data or technology excluding core development work
  • Experience in a client facing domain would be an added advantage
  • Sound knowledge of fixed income, equity and derivative instruments and their pricing methodologies used by vendors such as Bloomberg, ICE Data Services, Markit, JPM Pricing Direct, and Refinitiv
  • Knowledge of third-party confirmation/settlement platforms would be a plus
  • Demonstrated success in a high-paced environment
