Company

Arena Investors is an institutional asset manager with $2.6 billion of AUM that provides capital for middle market companies in special situations. The firm employs 80+ people globally, where the investment leadership team has an average of 20+ years of experience. The firm brings decades of experience, a track record of comfort with complexity, the ability to deliver within time constraints, and the flexibility to engage in transactions that cannot be addressed by banks and other conventional financial institutions.

Arena’s investments are typically complex, flexibly structured, geographically / industry agnostic and usually considered to be “non-traditional” or “esoteric” illiquid middle market positions. The firm follows an investment process that is fundamentals driven and capitalizes upon “process driven wrinkles,” “perceived risk” and other “special situations” in order to generate superior risk-adjusted returns. Arena has a flexible multi-strategy investment mandate to directly originate and execute corporate, specialty finance, real estate, energy and structured investments. Transaction sizes typically range from $10 to $50 million with targeted returns in excess of 10%.
