Who we are looking for
Under the supervision of the GTCB Recon and Investigation - Assistant Vice President, the GTCB Recon and Investigation - Senior Associate is responsible for driving the oversight functions of the Primary Nostro Reconciliation and Investigation function along with supporting the change and project management functions.

What you will be responsible for

Stakeholder Deliverables
  • Oversee and drive the completion and analysis of daily reconciliation/s of primary cash nostro; Oversee Nostro cash exception to ensure they are resolved in timely manner.
  • Monitor the nostro cash exception and case management functions ensuring appropriate actions are being taken within the agreed standards to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables including releavant reporting.
  • Participate in Global Project Initiatives that reduce Risk, automation and efficiencies for stakeholders.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to the Recon and Investigations Product.
  • Provide Oversight to the Offshore Recon and Investigations team.

Risk and Controls
  • Ensure full understanding and adherence to corporate risk policy and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all instructions (incoming SWIFT's, cancellations, amendments, reversals, kickbacks, unwinds, bank charges and statements from correspondents) are authorised, processed, settled and reported in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all internal controls and audit requirements are met according to procedures/policies.
  • Ensure errors are minimized; SSBT's and Global Process Delivery's exposure to financial loss is minimized.

Client Service
  • Respond promptly to client (internal / external) concerns, needs and requests.
  • Manage Priority Queries Daily.
  • Ensure all agreed deliverables and standards are met, participate in the resolution of problems as required.
  • Provide management regular feedback regarding Aged exceptions, High value exceptions, Cash cancellation request.
  • Ensure team delivers on SLA's KPI's.

Change Management
  • Demonstrate a willingness to support change / initiatives within GTCB - Recon and Investigation.
  • Manage user acceptance testing and organizing meetings and supporting training efforts to ensure effectiveness of UAT initiatives.
  • Work with individual project teams and test lead to develop UAT approach and provide support in setup of UAT
  • Develop test plan, test cases and execute test.
  • Coordinate and assist in the execution of UAT scripts.
  • Identify opportunities to improce efficiency and bring tangible benefits to stakeholders and risk management.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and relevant market experience in Nostro Recon, test lead and coordination.
  • A strong aptitude for information technology including MS office, SWIFT messaging, Intellimatch, Intellitracs
  • Deadline and detail orientated.
  • Aptitude for good organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve.
  • Be a strong team player
