With a rapidly growing platform and an investment in growth in the region, this foreign corporate bank is seeking to hire a Credit Analyst, Global Corporate Banking to provide credit origination and credit analysis support for Global Banking clients including HK and China corporate customers to achieve its business target and comply with regulatory requirements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for credit review and analysis of global corporate banking clients including China and HK listed corporates.
  • Perform in-depth transaction analysis for credit application write up and address concerns raised by credit approvers
  • Ensure continuous credit monitoring and prepare rating applications in a timely manner
  • Handle credit related matters including review of latest financials of obligors upon receipt of financial statements, long term loan review, compliance of credit approval conditions with bank policy and instructions;
  • Oversee documentation matters of existing and new transaction after credit approval;
  • Continuously review the existing credit commitments to identify potential credit problems and to recommend appropriate action when needed;


  • 5-9 years experience in credit analysis and credit management for Corporate Banking customers from reputable banks
  • Bachelor's Degree; Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, FRM are desirable
  • Holder of HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) Qualification is preferred
  • Good writing and communication/ presentation/excel and powerpoint skills in english;
  • Due to target customer segment, proficiency in spoken English and Cantonese is a must.
