The Wealth Planning Specialist Opportunity  

As a Wealth Planning Specialist, you will support IG Wealth Management Financial Advisors in the management of client relationships by providing securities advisory services for high net worth clients and prospects whom are candidates for Investors Group Securities Inc (IGSI). Wealth Planning Specialists make an impact by  

Providing portfolio analysis and client account review services, individual securities research and trade advisory services for high asset clients and prospects.  You will assist Financial Advisors to remain in compliance with the regulatory environment by providing securities trade advice and services. You will also conduct Regional Office training, seminars or communication sessions as required or in conjunction with Head Office.  

What we’re looking for in you  

We’re looking for dedicated team players with an agile and proactive mindset who want to help Canadians achieve their financial goals.  A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the securities industry, in progressive roles providing client portfolio analysis, account management and trade advice.  A valid Securities License with Securities Commission(s) – Registered Representative/Investment Advisor category.  Preference will be given to candidates who possess a University Degree, Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI) or other securities industry credentials.  Having the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, or in progress towards completion, is an asset.
