Job Description:
Overview

Product SME for APIs, Pay by Bank & Open Banking/Finance
  • Deliver technical expertise to help clients understand Bank of America's global API and Opening Banking solutions such as Pay by Bank
  • Ensure open banking solutions and associated products are functioning in-line with KPIs
  • Identify and deliver enhancements to support client demand and ensure Bank of America's proposition is competitive
  • Identify and act as SME for Open Banking / Finance market trends, driving awareness internally and external
  • Assist with client API data transmission and security discussions
  • Contribute as product owner on product development projects

Deal Solutioning and Request For Proposal assistance for complex integrations
  • Provide leadership and advisory on complex RFPs for API & Pay by Bank solutions
  • To review and advise Sales and the Proposal Team on RFI/RFP responses
  • Partner with Sales to present at RFP presentations

Client advisory including integration best practices, trends and thought leadership
  • Advise on technology trends and adoption related to API and Pay by Bank
  • Provide expertise on Open Banking and Open Finance
  • Identify internal applications for APIs, or use of 3rd party vendors to enhance existing GTS solutions
  • Supporting clients across all LOBs with the goal of supporting complex client opportunities in Treasury Services, improving client satisfaction, and driving efficiency in partnership with the client team.

Accelerate revenue generation by providing advanced subject matter expertise in presale, on-boarding, and optimization phases of the client experience with Treasury Services
Lead continuing education to clients and client teams on API, Open Banking/Finance and product capabilities
Participate in Product planning sessions and enhancement roadmap discussions by providing voice of the client feedback. Bring unique experiences and knowledge to the discussion.
Maintain active interest in treasury innovation, market and competitor developments and new technologies. Understand the relevance of new technologies, capabilities and products and their relevance to BofA clients

Required Skills

  • Exhibit a breadth of understanding of the business challenges facing the bank's clients, as they relate to API and Open Banking solutions.
  • An ability to translate this knowledge into smart business decisions and a robust sales pipeline and process that deepens client relationships and increases market share and wallet penetration.
  • Display strong knowledge of the GTS business and be conversant in payment services across a broad range of industry sectors to become a trusted advisor to our clients.
  • Ability to analyze, determine, drive and build solutions independently and proactively across the GTS teams.
  • Strong grasp of critical principles of risk management, compliance and fraud as well as product management experience.
