Treasury Manager - Private Equity Real Estate

A global real estate fund with an expansive portfolio of assets across Asia Pacific is currently looking to grow their treasury function in the region, to be based in Singapore. Reporting into the CIO for Asia, the Manager in the Treasury team will take responsibility for debt strategies for the APAC region across of the Company's APAC funds. Working with external counsel and internal Fund Finance and Operations teams you will pro-actively manage direct negotiations with lenders and drive financing transactions from inception to closing.

Role

• Establish possible and "best fit" debt strategies for each Fund in the APAC region
• Maintain strong relationships and interactions with local and global banking groups
• Liaise with banks, with responsibility for originating, negotiating, structuring and executing commercial real estate financing transactions
• Ability to approach the lending market and collate potential financing offers
• Drive financing transactions from inception to closing, co-manage internal and external relationships
• Assess, advise and manage fund investments risks for the APAC funds

Requirement

• 8+ years of demonstrable experience of negotiating and execution of real estate financing and debt / hedging strategies (either from a real estate fund or banking team i.e. buy- or sell-side)
• Strong relationships with banks and lenders across APAC
• University graduate preferably in a maths, business or a real estate related discipline
• Good negotiating and legal documentation skills with particular emphasis on real estate lending documentation.

There is flexibility over the level of seniority of this candidate, you must have an established network, be able to work independently on origination and structuring and be able to manage a team.
