Operations Senior Analyst (NAV)

Key Responsibilities

Delivery

Daily investigation and correction of price exceptions and the stale / static values of assets
Daily investigation and resolution of reconciling items of all cash and stock reconciliations across the scheme for internal and external managers
Liaison with the third-party providers for accounting service (JP Morgan and Northern Trust)
Daily review of NAV reports produced by our Fund Accountants and update commentary of differences, including investigation of these differences and how they can be resolved
Identify and deliver improvements to day-to-day processes
Support business initiatives impacting the team and deliver into day-to-day processes
Understanding of core end to end support of Public markets assets & processes

Stakeholder management

Development

Proactively Look for training opportunities to enhance skills, including cross-training across the team
Improve personal skill matrix score each year

Technical Competencies, Skills and Experience

Skills & Experience

Financial experience is beneficial
Accounting qualification is desirable (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA)
Business qualification is advantageous
Business/ Operational experience of working with a range of assets and awareness of investment products
Experience of Bloomberg AIM is an advantage
Problem solving with independent thought
