Main Responsibilities:

Company Secretarial Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and checking notices, standard and complex minutes.
  • Assisting with the new client business take-on and exiting process as required.
  • Making statutory and other filings to the Companies registration office.
  • Ensuring Board decisions and resolutions are documented as a correct record.
  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of local Regulatory requirements.

General Responsibilities:
  • To administer a portfolio of client entities, including complex, demanding or high risk cases and to ensure all activities fall within the guidelines of the statutory or governing documents.
  • To be the immediate point of contact in client relationships.
  • To review clients' matters periodically in accordance with the timetable set by the Director.
  • To oversee the maintenance of accounting records and coordination of annual accounts preparation.
  • To manage cash payment processes and the billig process.
  • To monitor the aged debt position of matters under administration.
  • To mentor and support the training of more junior members of staff with guidance from the Manager.

Experience required:
  • Minimum A Level education.
  • Ideally have completed or be completing the ICSA qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in company administration / company secretarial work, ideally at another Corporate and Fund Services firm.
  • An understanding of UK Company Law, funds / trust administration, and the tax implications of various structures.
  • Strong verbal and numerical skills, and good Excel skills.
  • A friendly team-player attitude with a client focus, and ability to work autonomously once trained up.
