Senior Associate/AVP, Real Estate & GBA, Corporate Banking

Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.
Responsibilities

• Work together as a team to achieve business goals and assigned KPI
• Assist senior RM to manage a portfolio of Chinese developers and GBA SOEs to achieve revenue growth and cross-selling; e.g. cash management services, deposit, FX, hedging, DCM, ECM, M&A and cross-country connectivity
• Conduct credit analysis including but not limited to client background search, financial spreading and analysis, industry analysis, peer comparison and cash flow modeling
• Assist in pitching materials preparation
• Monitor risk control and conduct relevant reporting
• Prepare briefing note for management prior to client meetings / calls
• Attend to client calls and/or meetings and prepare call minutes / site visit report
• New client solicitation as an advantage

Requirements

• University Degree in business, accounting or related subjects
• 3-6 years' hand on experiences in Banking
• HKSI 1,7,8 qualifications
• CFA / CPA / ACCA / FRM qualifications as an advantage

Skill & Knowledge:

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, presentation and writing skills
• Good Interpersonal and communication skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Self-motivated and good team player
