As a Barclays Portfolio Finance and Resource Manager, you will focus on maintaining accurate data in regards to finance and resources. This will mean consolidating, analysis and reporting of data received from various horizontal and vertical sources to support the portfolio in strategic decision-making. What will you be doing?
• You will be responsible for Medium Term Planning reforecast process for the Macro team which includes provision of variance analysis for actual versus forecast costs
• Working across other CIO areas, managing resource and non- resource ask
• Ensuring smooth and controlled hiring processes across the Macro team, providing guidance to hiring managers on the relevant processes as needed
• Tracking and reporting actual versus forecast hiring providing commentary on variance to plan
• Managing and reconciling Portfolio financials and resource mgmt. to budget/target
• You will be responsible for being key support in the MTP/Budget process
• Presenting a logical and thoughtful approach to work and the ability to consider the big picture and wider implications
• Identifying risks and opportunities to financial plans to produce outlooks
What we're looking for:
• Degree in Finance or Project Management disciplines
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to simplify and communicate complex messages
• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
Skills that will help you in the role:
