FInance Manager

Our Client, a well known REIT is looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with overseas property manager and/or accounting service providers on monthly closing matters
• Assist in the review of the full set of the management accounts and consolidated accounts of the Group's overseas subsidiaries and investments that are prepared by the overseas investment manager
• Review the tax calculations for the overseas subsidiaries and investments of the Group that are prepared by the overseas investment manager
• Review and coordinate the trust payments and distributions prepared by the overseas investment manager
• Monitor and preparation of monthly cash flow projections for funding requirements
• Liaise with external and internal auditors on audit matters
• Assist in the coordination of the budgeting / forecasting exercise for the overseas subsidiaries and investments
• Work with other members of the team on the following areas of work:
  • Review the day-to-day transactions generated by finance executives for the Group's Singapore properties (including the invoicing, receipting and payment)
  • Prepare management and statutory reports for reporting of the Group's financial results to various stakeholders, including providing variance analysis and trend reporting
  • Assist in the preparation and dissemination of quarterly Board Meeting materials
  • Assist in year-end audited financial statement and/or Annual Report of the REIT
  • Assist in the area of internal controls, including business process improvements

Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA professional certificate with Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a REIT and/or experience in the management of overseas real estate investment is preferred
