The Role:
We are looking for an intermediate RFP Writer to join our growing team of Writers to support with the production of DDQs, RFPs, and RFIs for large scale Wholesale & Institutional opportunities. Our General Writers work across various asset classes supporting our Senior Writers where required. General Writers prioritise DDQs but will also work on RFPs, RFIs and any other opportunities or requests.
This is a great opportunity to develop writing skills whilst working alongside a talented and supportive team. The team is split across both London and Edinburgh locations and this role is open to consider applicants from either location.

Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • Produce awards submissions, DDQs, institutional competitive research, RFIs, RFPs and surveys; General writers should predominantly be responsible for DDQs.
  • Expected to work across both Wholesale & Institutional opportunities
  • Proactively contribute to the overall team strategy
  • Ensure that team processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Assist in the training of new team members on M&G funds/systems/processes
  • Motivated to learn about the needs of our clients - be they internal M&G stakeholders or the investors in our funds
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience of working in asset management in an RFP role and willingness to learn about Investments
  • Experience working with various stakeholders and the ability to build good working relationships by understanding needs and requirements
  • Proficient in the MS Office suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to write for multiple audiences and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and control multiple priorities and competing deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
