The Role:

You will be joining Prudential's highly respected and market leading Intermediated Distribution team in Edinburgh to work with advisers in your region. Prudential is part of M&G plc and is continuing its journey to become a dynamic, digital and highly competitive provider. We are already very successful in our chosen markets and have ambitious plans for the future. This is a very exciting time on our transformation journey as we recognise our clients are increasingly looking to align their investments with their environmental and social values. Our ambitions to support our clients on this journey can be evidenced through our recent launch of the UKs first Smoothed Multi Asset ESG Solution in Prufund Planet.

The ideal candidate will be Level 4 diploma qualified and have experience and a successful track record of delivery within distribution in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities for this role:
  • To deliver your sales revenue target
  • Successful promotion of Pru life and pension wrappers and oeic proposition
  • New business development from adviser sales of Prudential products
  • Funds under management and adviser support retention
  • Client retention
  • Take all reasonable steps to make sure your business area fulfils its external regulatory, legal and industry obligations
  • Use your judgement to strengthen our positive risk and control culture, by identifying, assessing and managing risk within your business area

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Relevant professional qualification or close to completing (CII/PFS Level 4 Qualified or equivalent as a minimum)
  • Experience in the UK intermediary market and of the regulated sales environment
  • Strong presentation skills and good knowledge of Microsoft suite of digital applications
  • Working knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals
  • Working knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors
  • Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
