Macquarie Asset Management - Real Estate is a global investor and manager of real estate assets. The team consists of approximately 230 high performing and motivated employees across circa 20 cities globally. The business manages +US$25 billion of assets, across two distinct investment strategies: - Core, CorePlus, and opportunistic. While we always take a pragmatic approach to investing, we are currently focused on sectors that we believe are supported by structural tailwinds (multi-housing, logistics/industrial, office and data centers).

As the Head of Asset Management for Real Estate in Western Europe (France, BeNeLux, Spain, UK and Ireland), you will represent Macquarie Asset Management - Real Estate Core/Core Plus in Europe, regarding real estate asset management and have overall operational responsibility for diverse, Core/CorePlus +/- €4 billion European real estate portfolio.

Your responsibilities will require you to:
  • manage a team of regional asset managers
  • develop & execute asset level business plans with regional teams
  • have first line management for all regional asset management staff in the respective countries
  • be the first point of contact for all asset management topics
  • coordinate across the respective countries of external service providers (property managers, leasing agents, technical consultants etc.)
  • be responsible for the planning, monitoring, and reporting process of the Portfolio
  • cooperate & support the investment team from an asset management and property operations perspective
  • hold regional responsibility for Macquarie's Environmental, Social and Governance approach, work health & safety and internal audits
  • work closely with colleagues in other internal departments
  • represent asset management externally and with external stakeholders, including investor
  • coordinate asset management related IT projects, internally & externally.

Your expertise in real estate sectors and demonstratable track record of originating and leading large & complex transactions, in addition to your experience in transactional processes, managing people and workstreams will be vital in this role.

You are a team player, ambitious, analytical, have strong communication skills and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Finally, you will be Fluent in English and French or Spanish. Knowledge of German would be an advantage
